What is Discipleship?
Discipleship is the process of teaching believers how to live out their full potential for our Lord Jesus Christ.
After his resurrection from the dead, Jesus commissioned his disciples to "Go... and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever" he had commanded them (Matthew 28:19-20). The order given is teach the gospel, baptize believers, then teach them to observe (live out) Christ's commands. In other words, his disciples were to help believers live their Christian life to its fullest potential. This is discipleship.
As a church, we desire to equip believers with the means to prosper in their Christian walk.
